Summer is officially here! Whohoo! Before we gas up the car and head down the shore/waterpark/resort/walk outside, we can not forget the essential that must be in our purse or beach bag: Sunscreen!
I will be featuring my two MUST HAVES in terms of sunscreen. First, will be Dr. Murad’s Perfecting Day Cream, Board Spectrum SPF 30 PA++, $49.00 USD which is on the left in the photo. This is an awesome moisturizer that I apply in the morning. Its not greasy at all and great for people that have sensitive skin like myself. I noticed I was getting sun spots last year and I immediately made a B line to Sephora and did my research on their different moisturizers that included SPF. Dr. Murad’s brand is dermatologist developed which I appreciate and love. During my search, I also found an additional sunscreen that I would apply later during the day. My job requires me to be in and outside all day which leaves my sun exposure very high. Especially during 12pm-2pm when the sun is at its peak highest. The mineral sunscreen is by Peter Thomas Roth, Instant Mineral Board Spectrum SPF 45, $30.00 USD pictured on the right in the photo. I apply this right over my makeup midday before or after lunch to protect my face and neck. If I am wearing a sleeveless dress I apply on my shoulders as well. The instant mineral is light and doesn’t ruin your makeup. I have also featured a photo of the brush which shows the mineral powder. Its great for all different skin colors and types.
